Community  Cannabis  Connection

Community Cannabis Connection – We exist to highlight the positive aspects that the developing cannabis industry is bringing to their local communities. Through education and active engagement with local leaders, community organizations, and other businesses we are working to dispel the myths created by the failed war on drugs.

April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month

The rate of testicular cancer has been increasing in the United States and many other countries. The increase is mostly in seminomas. Experts have not been able to find reasons for this increase. Lately, the rate of increase has slowed. As with many cancers cannabis may be able to help.

Testicular cancer is not uncommon; a man’s lifetime chance of developing testicular cancer is about 1 in 270. Because treatment is so successful, the risk of dying from this cancer is very low: about 1 in 5,000. Testicular cancer is highly curable when detected early, and 95% of patients with testicular cancer are alive after a five-year period. However, about half of men with testicular cancer do not seek treatment until the cancer has spread beyond the testicles to other locations in the body.

Please join us in our effort to raise awareness about this cancer. Consider a direct donation to Testicular Cancer Awareness Foundation or you can purchase one of these sweet shirts and we will donate 100% of the profits to charity for you.
